The Local Legend
When people around Boston describe Chad LaMarsh, one phrase comes up again and again: “local legend.”For more than three decades, Chad has been entertaining crowds across New England and beyond with his high-energy performances, powerful vocals, and unmistakable stage presence. A Berklee College of Music graduate with a degree in Professional Music and Songwriting, Chad began singing and playing guitar at just seven years old. By age ten, he was already performing in bars and restaurants throughout the Chicago suburbs.
Since then, Chad has taken his music coast to coast - performing everywhere from California, Arizona, Kentucky, and Miami to New York and venues all across New England. His performances have even brought him internationally to the mountains of Austria.
What makes Chad unique is his ability to completely control the energy of a room. One moment, he’s pulling audiences in with a nostalgic acoustic performance - the next, he has the entire crowd singing and dancing. His intense, percussive guitar style often sounds bigger than a one-man show, and with his fully wireless setup, don’t be surprised if he ends up performing right in the middle of the crowd.
Chad’s song list spans generations and genres, blending rock, pop, country, alternative, hip-hop, and crowd favorites into seamless live sets with no awkward stops or downtime - just nonstop entertainment from beginning to end.
Whether performing at packed bars, private events, weddings, cruises, restaurants, or corporate functions, Chad brings a level of professionalism, charisma, and energy that keeps audiences coming back year after year.
“Chad LaMarsh is one of the most energetic, dynamic, and charismatic artists I’ve ever seen. His passion for his art flows out of every chord he pounds out of his guitar, and in every song he crafts.”
Over the years, Chad has shared stages with and opened for national acts including Rick Springfield, John Waite, Montgomery Gentry, Bob Dylan & Paul Simon, Goo Goo Dolls, Godsmack, Gin Blossoms, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, and Recycled Percussion.
Chad has also released two original albums available on iTunes, and his music has been featured on radio and television, including several original songs on ABC’s All My Children.
